mornin  coffee cocoa and tea  are ready also a pitcher of cold  milk.  there is rye, rum, and bourbon  the girls  made biscuits and bacon for this  morning and for  later on there will be  slow roasted corn beef  brisket  with all the trimmings  and tater  wedges

To be fair (and I do try to be fair as at one point in my life I sold operating systems, too), it was a tactical problem rather than anything to do with the Windows 10.

Now my first Blue Screen of Death in six years was indeed a Windows 10 / Dell problem.  But that one was more of a "just don''t do that" (writing to an SD card to put into a Raspberry Pi) as opposed to, say, trying to render an image.
Or were you talking about something further back in the thread?   

Glad to hear that. I flash SD cards all the time for my PIs on a Dell XPS. (i7 4700, Dell Motherboard 0KWVT8) and haven't had issues with either balenaEtcher or Win32DiskImager . Mind you I am still using 3s and haven't bought a RPi4 yet. This Dell is the only prebuilt box I have ever purchased since the days of VIC20 and C64. Both of which had holes drilled into the cases within minutes of unpacking when I got them home. Hard reset switch was the greatest thing. I have to say, this Dell XPS has never BSODed on it's own. The most stable machine I have ever owned.

Indeed we have similar weather conditions here disturbing part was knew it before I went outside. Yep, ye ole asthma is making me uncomfortable. Would say how wonderful, but I would be lying
