Thanks McGrandpa. I don't think we ever got to know each other before I had to leave but I was a member here about 15 years ago.

That is the way of it dear Aelin.  The Big Boss works in mysterious ways.  We lost Miko a few years ago.  Connie found an advert to give pups away.  At first, I said not no, but HELL NO.  Next day, right out of the blue, I asked if she wanted to check out said pup.  No clue as to why, just did.  Went over there and talked to the owners.  The little guys were in the house and one of them was brave enough to take a peek down the hallway.  Connie looked over at him and he come charging down the hallway like a runaway freight train.  Jumped up in her lap and began washing her face.  When the other crtitters got to her and him, he was warning them all off with a series of growls that had them all, including me, taking a step back.  That was Kibitz, the untrained medical dog.

And Cleve, hate to tell you this buddy, but that seems to be something that the firstborn make child gets saddled with since time immemorial.  So, you are NOT alone in such things.
I think you are right about that, but it sure doesn't make things easy to handle. Watching my siblings go through illnesses and other health issues that I myself am not suffering from is hard to do. I do have some health issues, but none as bad as what my siblings have. As for Tammie, I am praying for her and hoping for the best that can be.

Right, 'ere we go.  Roll cross country and go through the ditch . . . fire main gun to look . . . Oooops.  Is it supposed to do that?

Good morning guys. ANd thank you for your words  :peek:
Coquinette was taken to the vet today, for incineration. While waiting to see him for papers, a woman came with her baby, her dog and a lonely dog she found ready to cross the street. The vets couldn't keep the dog, the woman wasn't from the town, his only possibility was to be impounded... or the vets accept to leave him with us, the time his family call back the cabinet.
I consider Coquinette helped one last time like that, like she needed help when she was presented to me.
Concerning Rexxie, he had the identification, his Mom was called without success at first, and the time we were back at home, his Mom was just arriving. The funny part? She is the sister of the vets' secretary and the woman didn't recognize the dog, nor the phone number of her own sister :tearlaugh: But all was well, Rexxie had a good walk and his happy ending.

Thanks for all the support, my friends. Tammie looked better than I had seen her a few days earlier, and she was about as active as someone in her condition can get. Some preachers have told her that God is not done with her yet. They predict that she is going to do something great for the glory of God! I really need to believe that. After losing Pop the way I did, I don't know how much more of that I can sanely deal with. Pop passing like he did, and me being the one that discovered he had passed took a big toll on me. I still dream about that day. I was doing all I could to keep him alive, but when the time comes, there can be no stopping it. That was proven to me big time that day.

So sorry to hear it, Aelin!    :sadder:

Sorry to hear of that Aelin.  Always sad to loose a friend.  Even a little one.

Hang in their Cleve, just know that the Force is with you . . . . always.
