Giveaway of the Day

Giveaway of the Day

Welcome, and how may I help you?

Come visit with all in here, have some coffee or your favorite beverage, and have loads of fun. The bar staff and keeper are always here to fill your orders. This is our gathering place where we will share greetings, pass secrets, gossip, and enjoy each other's company.

Jherrith has agreed to fire up the grill on the weekends with some of his tasty specials.....and the COFFEE will always be hot and fresh, especially with Fafnir and his bevy of waitresses.

Good morning everyone...

Dreamer I remember going to walk into the dairy (convenience store) where I worked in NZ and just as I got to the doorway an earthquake hit...next minute I was standing about 3 foot inside the shop watching all the stock falling off the shelves...yep they can be scary things.

This reminds me of the Meckering earthquake that happened back in 1968, My first experience of a quake, I was standing in the corner deli (shop) as the items on the wall started dancing I commented to another person in the shop. the shop keeper shouted "earthquake get out"  so we are standing on the road outside and a bus stops, the driver asking what is going on. Did not even notice the quake.

The 'quakes' (little tremors I figure) here were just enough to make me feel like I was catching a wave surfing . . . on dry land.   I even took the stance, crouching.  And went nowhere.  LOL!   The "Fracking Tremors" just made me notice the house kinda jumped a bit, from a moving wave about 1" high.  But that was the whole area acting like the ocean, glass flat then suddenly that little wave passing under ya.
