-22. Wind makes it colder. Supposed to be 3 this afternoon. Followed by a heatwave, a polar vortex, a hurricane and another 2 meters of snow. I'm kidding; despite the fact it really seems this way around here with the daily temperature swings. It is -22 though and +5 is the call for this afternoon.


Your CDC has made our drug dealing Premiere, brother to the dead crackhead mayor we had; decide that we will no longer test, track, or report; cases. He says that the CDC recommends a 5 day quarantine with no test to return. We will do the same.


How do we know when we are sick if we don't test. Doesn't matter. You have COVID. Period. Stay home 5 days and return to work.


But wait; what are the symptoms we should watch for. Doesn't matter. You have COVID. Isolate for 5 days and return to work.


But I feel fine. Great go to work and do your thing. Can I get a test to check if I am contagious? Why. You do not have COVID. You isolated for 5 days. Go to work.


The happiest thing to happen to Ford (Premiere not car company) is the wishy washy coming out of the CDC. It gives him, and other Premieres; an excuse to abandon the entire thing.

Grrrrr. My blood pressure is rising. I must have COVID. Better isolate for 5 days and return to society when my newly discovered COVID heals.


I want a refund. I took the 7day free trial. 2022 sucks. Looks like 2021. I want a new season of something to participate in and 2022 doesn't have it. I want a refund and my subscription cancelled.


Now it;s the 8th and my refund seems to be misplaced. 2022 is still running on the screens around me. Give me a Creek Fafnir. Keep the coffee. It's going to be a long 11 3/4 months.

Same here predicted for tomorrow.  Who knows what it will actually be?   

Watching the original Harry Potter film tonight.  The first time in 20 years.

For a short period of time I was working at home and I also "Dressed" for work.  Now granted....no suit and tie....but regular shirt and bluejeans...and back then...there was NO Zoom or any other kind of internet meetings.  Our meetings were a group of us meeting in the conference room with the speaker box in the middle of the room and the mics on the conference tables LOLOLOL....

It didn't warm up very much today...that's for sure.  Right now it's back down to 2 degrees....

Now tomorrow will be shorts weather...32 degrees for a high

Funny enough, I do dress for work.  It helps with my attitude and, well, Zoom meetings. 

That's a cold day you've described in your first message of day.  I'll bet the outside cats are very thankful for you. 

My friend who keeps chickens said that they were completely freaked out by the snow and would not leave the coup.

It was good.  Hated not being able see the brothers but seeing baby sister after so many years made it worthwhile.


And those who are Southern will understand this one.  Mom is one of those that thinks she is a failure as a mom if you don't leave 20 lbs heavier than when you came.

Sorry to hear you did not get to see your brothers but so glad you got to see your baby sister...  You don't have to be Southern to have that trait....as Aelin said...it's built into Grandmothers also LOL.
