Surprisingly enough I didn't know that song. Haven't even heard the album before despite the fact the first Bat out of Hell got a lot of play way back when.


I'm old and I'm tired. My pieces barely fit together anymore and the screws are coming loose. My warranty is running out and I am rusting into the apartment floor. For those that know just how many reconstructive repairs I've had over my lifetime this is not even a slight stretch.


I've done everything right and I am still wasting my life away smoking copious amounts of pot, drinking rye by the bottle; and shooting some video game fool in the head that truly deserves it, for some stupid reason; because I am stuck in this postage stamp apartment I cannot escape and there is nowhere to go even if I did.

More C&C please Fafnir. I've a doobie to roll and some fool to shoot.  No wonder the muse took a hike and isn't in a hurry to return. I've become more jaded and nasty as the years have passed. Not a fertile place for beauty or story telling this angry pdg.

Wiz..... Found that to be true in many of the Books turned to Movies.  I call it "Stories by two authors"

Many moons ago I was a avid Mack Bolan reader...I've still have almost all of his Executioner Series and Able Team  books in my Shed....then the Movie came out...and to me it wasn't even about Mack Bolan...

Thankfully I kinda expected that....so it did not bother me that much and I kept buying the books LOL

I've gone this long without watching the Harry Potter Movies....so a few more years won't hurt LOLOL

Now I've got to go and see what else is posted and head to our Social Sites to put up the winners.

I want a refund. I took the 7day free trial. 2022 sucks. Looks like 2021. I want a new season of something to participate in and 2022 doesn't have it. I want a refund and my subscription cancelled.


Now it;s the 8th and my refund seems to be misplaced. 2022 is still running on the screens around me. Give me a Creek Fafnir. Keep the coffee. It's going to be a long 11 3/4 months.

Hi folks!  We still have to deal with the Covid bugs.  Loads of people are still on total denial about it even existing.  I see people around me here in the hospital with it.  I am still negative for it.  But seeing code alarms from their rooms is so sad.  And scary too.  I so want to get home and see my boys.  I miss em terribly!

I made a point of reading each book before watching the corresponding movie.  And I agree, there's a lot of he / she wasn't like that in the book and it didn't happened that way in the book.  I generally enjoyed the movies although the "kids" (10 years old in the beginning) looked (and were) much older by the later ones.

I recommend the fan fiction version "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality" as another take one the same characters that I found pretty entertaining.

thel, if you read the boockes, be prepared for some "But he's not like that in the book and she's not that smart." Biggest thing is blue for green, "He has his mothers eyes".  reguardless the films are fun, as long as you don't hold too tightly to the boockes.  Like nearly every movie made. 8 )

Good Morning to all....

Not as cold as you are PDG....we are actually above 0 today...15 degrees.  Sunday will be when we get your temps....but not as bad...I think they are predicting -8...we shall see.

Sir Knight....I've not watched any of them though I've read all the books.  But I got the DVD collection one year from the Grandson for Christmas...The Great Grands love watching them.  But I will someday...I see Peacock has some of them listed in their movie selection.
