I think I had a Teddy Bear once that I named Fuzzy

Or was it Wuzzy?

Not sure anymore.  I probably named it Bear  :java:

The term "Fuzzy Wuzzy" was from a poem by Rudyard Kipling that had nothing to do with bears but Beja warriors in Africa. The British called them that. But ov course.

I don't know why the rhyme, but I remember it too.

:OMFG:
Well that was a real Fuzzy Wuzzy Buzz kill! Have you had your coffee yet?! You could have just spanked me ya know! Would have hurt less!

Agreed there!! Why do you think I just said "screw tv"? There's very little quality programming on any more. I sort of regret the things I do miss out on that I like but not enough to pay for what used to be free and a whole lot better.

Speaking of funny things...I remember my grandmother Brewer telling me about hairless bear when I was a kid.

"Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy Had no hair, Fuzzy Wuzzy Wasn't really fuzzy, Wuzzy?"

My first thought when she told me this was of all the disappointments I would face in life by listening to ANYTHING adults had to say!

Those were shows that were FUN to watch and you looked forward to.  All this reality crap just pisses me off so much.  I've started watching "WE" TV which has all my OLD SHOWS.  I forgot I had the channel but love it of late.  Mash, The Rifleman, Andy Griffith, etc.....Loved them all.

sidherose

No I didn't forget the 'but stupid' part. Tis why there is "..." after the first part implying there is more.

I did forget Ruth's last name was spelled with an 'i' not a 'y'.

That's Ruth Buzzy (Gladys) and Arte Johnson (Dirty Old Man & Nazi in the bush). "Ferry interesting...."

Although Tim and Carol had some great moments too on her show.

You forgot one part..... "Ferry Interesting....but STUPID"  LOLOL  Loved using that line

Jherrith

Ah yes we do so remember those days Ruth Buzzi and Arte Johnson Rowan and Martins Laugh in

Goldie Hawn, the Flying Fickle Finger of Fate award

and don't forget the most famous of lines "You bet your sweet bippy!"

"But who is stronger, truly, I asked myself, he who continues to wound and bleed himself to please others, or he who refuses any longer to do so?"

Fighting Slave of Gor by John Norman
