Back in the day of yahoo chat, I would warn my big mouth sister of chat-room dangers but she would never listen. Then one day she calls me up and tells me that she couldn't connect to the internet because of a winsock error.

She ask how that could happen and I explained to her that she had pissed someone off and they hit her with a booter.

You know, those nasty little programs that exploited yahoo's buffer overflow with malformed packets. uh...well, that's what I hear they did.


I told her she would need a fresh copy of winsock to replace the corrupted one and that would fix everything. She replied: "I know how to fix it...Jr! I just wanted to know how it happens!"

She pm's me from her sons computer a few hrs later and ask me how to get a fresh copy of winsock....Being slightly angry with her after how she acted I sent her a link to a google page. Below is a screenshot of the page.

What does she reply with? "I don't see a link on that page for a download!"

I searched all over the place for my cell phone the other day, couldn't find it anywhere. Sandy said not to ask her, it wasn't her day to keep up with it. So I dialed it on the home phone....

All of a sudden it felt like a rabid critter went off in my front pocket, I forgot about having it on vibrate. I thought "Well, that's either a pocket pootie with multiple vibration speeds or it's my cell."

It was my cell!

   I have to put mine on vibrate when I visit my favorite place and people think I'm seeing the Doctor for mental problems since every time it goes off I damn near jump out of the seat

But yup...I've done the Cellphone search many times...and the only one I can ask about where it might be is me...and me would most like say the same thing your wife said to you
