Yup.  And, AO helped get rid of the "nuclear nostrils" we had in early Posers.   My use of AO lately has apparently been the cause of some rather odd looking phenomena.  So for the time being I turn it off, and that stuff quits.  I may have it all wrong, but doing a simplified process of elimination is where I got rid of the mesh showing thru, and light area where two things meet like a hand on thigh or foot on ground; and it should be dark there.  Annoying, aggravating stuff.  But not serious.  Ignorance meets reality stuff.

This one only took 2 hours with high quality setting engaged.

6 seconds.  About the only thing I can render that fast is a blank screen!   How many cores is that?  6 or 8?
I got this picture in my mind.  A Toyota Supra 2 liter 4 cyl HEMI on one side the Christmas Tree, on the other side is a 1000 cu in HEMI Elephant outputting 5000 HP in a AA Fuel Dragster.   You could spot me 1/8 mile in the quarter and blow me off the track 3/4 the way down!  LOL!   :D

It usually takes my system longer to beat up on the HD's looking for and gathering up its needs for rendering the scene than it does for yours to DO it.  And then I get to watch mine render it.  Watching grass grow, paint dry, the life cycle of a bug.  Long time.   :OMFG:

Technically and figuratively, on the inside of my case I have velcroed a 2 TB external and plugged it into the USB 3.1 port on the MB for doing the system backups
