Cool deal, glad I didn't mangle the message too badly. Thanks rad but I have it...it wants to wipe out evrything and I just need it to be bootable to check things out. Love my mac but they got picky with this verion of software and maybe the latter ones too. You install it and then it installs everything it has. We used to be able to go in later and get rid of programs and extensions we didn't need but not now. One must keep all that is installed even though it is not used cause they all are seeming to be needed by each other.

The good news is that I'm on my trusty emergency laptop that will never update past Windows 9 LMAO.....But the net works and security is good....so all is fine...

Hooking up the new computer sometime this week when time allows....Doctors Appts, Lawn Mowing, and Real life has taken it's toll on my "ME" time.  As most know it takes me 3-4 hours to mow my lawn.  But I LOVE the Exercise. The Electric Mower is super.  The batteries last long enough to get both the front part of the lawn and the back 90 done.

So that will make me a short timer in here also for a day or two...I'm hoping it's "A DAY"....this old body can't take two days of activity.

I'm already having "Computer Withdrawals" and miss my Attic Family...Hopefully setting up the Newbie won't take long.  On a good note...it's not raining....

It wasn't a very good new comp if it's already kaput. No matter a surge by a lightning or not.
He had one drive at a time. But the good part for him it's he have several externals.

That is very unfortunate.  I hope he has the money and time to get back soon.  Lots of interest in using cloud backup for your entire computer.  No idea what it costs (especially for we of the gigantic graphic files).  I'm  pondering the idea...
