My youngest daughter needs iron supplements. But she's making the best of it cause she wants to be there for her kids.

I wonder what's going on that they need to shove sick folks out to bring in other sick folks...Not a great system at all.

Some bodies, like mine, do not absorb iron properly.  I have to get a iron infusion (I'm sure you all know about my "Refills" as I call it) every year.  Been having that done now for 25 years.  Use to take 4 hours..now it's a 30-45 minute infusion. I have one coming up in August.

Yeah I had 2 blood transfusions...before they realised that it wasn't making any difference...so then I had an iron infusion...

lol, I cursed my daughters when they told me they would take care of me when I get sick cause they absolutely refuse to let me die....I then said no worries about that I intend to be here when I am 300, maynot be able to do much but ya never know.

I am so glad that you have found what works for you...I used to make concrete products...bird baths, statues. and many different items...very heavy work...but loved it while I could do it...my COPD got the better of me...

I always tell older people that the best thing you can do to ease aging is to exercise (lightly, stretch, etc. ;) and eat good food.

We all will die sooner or later. The choice that you have to make is if you want to make it last easily or not. ;)

I'm 62 and work a very physically active job lifting heavy objects and am up and down tall ladders. This gives me my exercise. When I wake up, I stretch and rub my arms, shoulders, back and legs to get my blood flowing. Then I get up, and go about my day. No coffee, energy drinks, etc. I don't need them. ;)

Awww thank you all...extra strength must of worked TL...I reckon I have turned the corner...been sent home and told we need your bed...we have 108 people in emergency who need a bed so since there is nothing else we can do for you...go home make an appointment with your own Dr.
Well it was nice to be told your dying so go home and live your life...okay, my own dr told me I needed to eat a lot more protein food...he said 100g of cooked steak is about 30g...i want you to eat 100g of protein every day for a week...he also said he would never admit to saying that...not because it's not true...but because it is...so he also made me take 3 magnesium tablets 4 times a day for the week...and extra strong iron tablets...and as i also got cellulitis he gave me 5 repeats of these antibiotics...I have to ring and get another script for more...as it's working my cellulitis is nearly all gone and I am very lucky because I never got any broken skin anywhere.
Anyway I can now walk around with no trouble...all my skin looks good again...my muscles in my calves are back and my hands that looked like a shriveled bone with drooping skin is now back...and I am finding that I am not as tired as I was before...also the best bit for me is my mind...I can think more clearly...no more stopping to say something...as all I had was a big empty space there...I told my daughter...I am not dying yet...I am telling you I will be living until I am 84!! lmfao

Well sanbie is under the weather bus again...here at home we sit like we just got out of the tub with the heat and she got run down by illness that is chasing her.

Hope that makes sense cause I tried to make it so but confoozled me instead....not too hard to do.

Our idiot store will be the death of me yet...LOL
