A Few Sauce Books

Well, I've read one...it was kind of short. But it did have some good recipes. And I've started on a 2nd one but just got the latest Bake From Scratch magazine. So, those will have to wait. LOL

One thing that I'm starting to notice about cookbooks now is that they will put the serving amount after the recipe. They also tend to not have prep times, etc. anymore. :(

Of course, I'll be adding the above to every review of these books. ;)

EDIT: Plus...I've just downloaded 6 more cookbooks! I'll keep you all posted after I read them. But, they were all rated very well! ;)

The best place to start is by learning French sauces and branching out from there. Please keep in mind that Auguste Escoffier who created the books for "The 5 Mother Sauces" did not create the recipes. He only categorized them according to what he knew at the time. I've had these for a number of years.
