...OK found it it is the DarkModem214b option however all the text  I type is in light grey instead of white (which I remember it was before) which is a bit of a strain to see.  When I changed the text colour in the dark setting to white it became invisible in "White  Mode".

The other two "standard" settings available (which most forum members apparently use) are both "White Mode" based when I viewed them.  I thought there was just a separate standard "dark theme" as well.

Anyway I am no longer blinded when  I sign into the forums.

Also why are the replies reading in reverse order? Os there some setting that was messed up which I need to change?  His all seemed to have happened after the recent server shutdown.

If You can get to Your profile page on the side should be a section called Forum Profile
Under that should be a list of links.
Account  Settings
Forum Profile
Look and Layout
Notifications
Buddies / Ignore List
Snowflakes

You Want the one called Look and Layout

That will take you to the Look and Layout Profile page.
there should be a  Current Theme and to the right of it a change tab.

...yes bit the the only things I see that can be changed is my profile image my signature, or add a permanent emote.

...for some reason now I am stuck in white mode which is almost blinding. I cannot find a way to change it back to dark or grey mode in the settings under Look and Layout.
