Good Morning Aelin,

I watched the first Starwars movie at the Drive In and that was it. (Yes, we still have a Drive In here)  But I do like Stargate and have always been a Trekky and always liked Battlestar Galactica.  With all the stations we get on TV's nowadays I find all of the older Sci Fi Movies and Shows I loved.  And yes....I'm still a big Sci Fi Fan....

Don't get blown away....Enjoy your day...

I think it is probably well know that I am a sci fi fan, BIG TIME. Almost all of my favorites are space travel movies and series. Star Trek is definitely my favorite, but Star wars, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, Babylon 5, Lost in Space (even though it is campy), Buck Rogers (the newer one,not the older one), and a few others for the space travel ones I liked to watch.
For time travelling, my definite favorite ran for the most seasons of any sci fi series, having begun I think in the 1950s as a movie, but when it became a series, the premise changed, making the lead character from another world. The series began in the early 1960s, and was filmed in black and white. It continued running at least into the 1990s, when the last version of the character was introduced. There was an ingenious way the production company transitioned from one version of the character to the next, and my favorite version of him was portrayed by Tom Baker! The series was produced in Great Britain, and it was called Dr. Who. So many strange but very interesting concepts were introduced in that series, not the least of which was the mode of Time Travel being disguised as a blue Police Box, that was a lot larger on the inside than the outside hull appeared to hold. In fact, the Tardis was like a whole other world inside. Other series I watched about time travel were The Time Tunnel, 7 Days, Quantum Leap, and a short lived one called Sliders. To me Quantum leap was the second favorite of the time travel series.
Other Sci Fi series I liked were The X Files, Space 1999, The Invaders (both versions),The Outer Limits, Alien Nation, My Favorite Martian, The Twilight Zone, Project Blue Book, Robotech, Transformers, Voltron, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Sea Quest, The Lost World, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman, Johnny Quest, Land of the Giants, Red Dwarf, Planet of the Apes, Salvage One, Sea Lab, Beyond Westworld, Airwolf, Knight Rider, FarScape, Earth Final Conflict, Eerie Indiana, Ray Bradbury Theatre, Robocop, Andromeda, Firefly, Eureka, Torchwood, Fringe, V, and The Orville.
Well I did say I am a BIG sci Fi fan! LOL

I'm a fan of 95% of the ones you put up there.....Got many CD collections of old Sci Fi shows....and now with all the programs we get on the newer TV's  thanks to the internet....I can go back further to find some real oldies I use to watch with my Grandfather and 4 brothers.  I watched the B & W Version of THE BLOB last night....The one with James Arness in it...before he became Marshall Matt Dillion on Gunsmoke.

Same here....When I spent the weekend at my Granparents,  Grandpa would take me to the movies while Grandma sat in the park across the street from the two Movie Theatres....The Strand and The Opera House. He loved Horror and SciFi Movies which is where I got my love for them.
