Goodmorning everybody, it's sunday and it's quite down here. Not many people around. I suspect most have a hangover and are still in bed after the first night on carnaval.
Anyhew, I've taken my first steps in Blender by starting the infamous donut-tutorial and since I'm old and date back to the computerless era I have to repeat the video's numerous times but,....I have the base of a donut and no idea how I managed that. Onto the icing I say.
But first,...coffee  :java:

Hey, you sound like me now!   I am old and slow, and hard of hearing enough I got to replay some parts a dozen times to get the message.  Ha!   At least we ain't alone, Pommerlis!   I still struggle with Modo, and occasionally have a blast with ZBrush.  Heck I gotta do something useful with all the hardware I love piecing together, right?  :oD

My Next Project for BadMoonRYZEN is taking all 12 SSD's I have accumulated and getting them all placed in proper racks inside the old case.  Got most of the parts in now, so almost time to have my own private 'Carnival!'  dancing with the ol computer!    :woohoo: :tearlaugh: :tearlaugh:  :explode:  :perverted: :i-beback: :yippee:
I am always Happy at this point in the build or upgrading.   Cause I know I am gonna have me some FUN!   :oD

Good Morning to all,

Darn it all....I missed the halftime show (like you PDG...I'm not up with the performers nor the music), all the commercials and the game....Because I was watching Faceoff on Sling.

Though I heard the play by play from the daughter and the bitching when her team lost.  I ignored as much of the chatter as I could LOLOLOL...

It's a balmy 25 degrees out this morning....still a lot warmer then we typically get in February.  Though looking back, last year on this date it was 49 degrees for a high and they are predicting close to the same for today (44 degrees).  But look out New England and company....a BIG Snow Storm heading that way.

Good news on the job Aelin....Happy for you.....Can't wait to hear more.

DAZ has some new Iconic likenesses for Genesis 9. This one has been out for over a month or two, but the resemblance the iconic actor is striking. If you cannot recognize him, perhaps you've been living under a big rock? lol
This actor was just one of many that have portrayed one of the most iconic characters in movie history, and he was that character in several movies. Most of my friends and family think he was the best version of the character, and it is likely that many of you here will agree. This likeness though is from his later years, but he still looked good in his old age. He is no longer with us now, except in this likeness, and our fond memories. May he continue to Rest In Peace.
Follow this link to see his likeness for Genesis 9:

Thank you for including that link 'old man' !!  ;o)  That is in his finest Scottish whistling as he speaks accent!    Opening role:  Cannonball!  The likeness is a good one.  Not perfect of course, but good.   What was your favorite role of his?   Me, I enjoyed him in Outlander, The Rose, And his (character) teaching/training Cathryn Zeta Jones (character) to steal that artwork!   The Laser beam floor exercises were spectacularly beautiful!   I am sure you must agree!

For me, Sean Connery was good in whatever he acted in. He had a way of owning the roles he played. Yes his Bond was the best of them all, and when he was Ramirez in Highlander, it was epic. He actually did better than the main character to me, giving his character a sense of colorful personality. But whatever role he took on, whether it was a lead role, or a supporting role, you could not forget him. It was always memorable.
Of the others that portrayed Bond, I liked Pierce Brosnan best, but he still could not hold a candle to Sean Connery.
Cheers!

Goodmorning everyone,

Hey, you sound like me now!   I am old and slow, and hard of hearing enough I got to replay some parts a dozen times to get the message.  Ha!   At least we ain't alone, Pommerlis!   I still struggle with Modo, and occasionally have a blast with ZBrush.  Heck I gotta do something useful with all the hardware I love piecing together, right?  :oD

It's not so much as that I am hard of hearing, just that English is not my native language so all that tech-talk is allready hard for me in Dutch. I need a decoder when it's in English and an Enigma machine when they throw in streettalk but Mr. Donut is exceptionally good in explaining it.
Building a computer for me is a whole different world. That I don't think I will ever manage in this lifetime. I can attach the cables to the right outlets though, does that count?! LOL

Weather is good, sunny but a bit cold. Back to slowly creating poses and of course "The Donut"
