I was watching the news yesterday afternoon and they were showing vids from the French farmer's tractor protest as they encircled a small town somewhere. I didn't catch the name of the town, but Aelin was the first person I thought of.

I can't tell you the name of that town. There were so many actions that it can be any town. I know there were a lot of action in Agen, perhaps it was that one. Closer of us, there were actions at Clermont-Ferrand, but more today. And at Limoges during Saturday. Those aren't little but middle towns, so not sure it works to fit with what you saw.
Today farmers started to circle aroune Rungis, the big market sending food on Paris. If they are able to block it, no more food in shops of Paris in 3 days. We'll see how it works.

But in general, the strikes are around Europe. German farmers are those who really started the move this year. Yet Dutch farmers are striking since last year. You understand, in their case, they are doing too much pollution for the planet; yet, Dutchland gouvernment is glad to bring in Europe food coming from all over the world.
There are also strikes in Poland, Belgium and several other countries.
Each country farmers have their own revendications. But European Union is often an issue for each of them.

I heard that the Freedom Convey will restart on your side also PDG.

Phew.....Finally, I can sit and relax for a bit.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PDG.....Another year bites the dust.....and you didn't.......

How's that for a positive outlook on Birthdays....

Most of you remember a while back me mentioning asshole neighbors who put their two declawed indoor cats outside and never let them in again. Snowball and Midnight. Well, haven't seen Snowball at all but Midnight is one of the crew that I feed every day and who spends time in the shelters I have for the cats and kittens. Anyway...My friend Mel, (Most remember her as Shannons Mom) said her Mother would take Midnight in. Lorna and I were talking about it after Oz passed away but Lorna wasn't up for it yet....So I got ahold of Mel and said "COME ON DOWN" and she did.

I let Midnight in this morning and she acted as if she owned the place. Walked over to the cat food...helped herself to it....went and drank some water....walked over to the couch, laid down...and was out of it until Mel and her Mother came to pick her up LOL... She is a BEAUTIFUL CAT....

How is your friend doing today Aelin.....???? Did the young one make it to where she was going OK. I hope so... Been keeping track with what's going on in your neck of the woods....And here I thought our farmers were a strange breed....I see that it's a universal thing.
