Morning earwenM....

I do a head count every morning to make sure none of the outside critters are missing their feeding time.  We've had some wicked cold temps and they are all doing well by the looks of it....Four of them always sleep in the Straw filled houses I have for them....but most find safe places in various spots that they feel good in.  But none have missed a meal so far and we've got a few new ones that come by. 

A beautiful BIG orange colored tabby....and a black and white one that I haven't seen before.  But all are welcomed.  I put three bowls of cat food out every morning and night....and when above freezing....a wee bit of wet food is added.

LOL.....Glad the pup gets the "Zoomies" when released from prison LOLOL...and yes....it's the only way to keep a house from being trashed....Good news on the weight gain.  I told my brother about the playpen idea and he's all for it....their pup is in training also....

I am dreading mine. Because in summer being hot doesn't bother me. Being cold is another ball of wax.

This time yesterday it was 12°F, and this morning (5 after midnight!) it is 20°F !!  Hey, warmer is warmer, right?  :o)

Hope everyone N of the equator is warm, and everyone S of it is cool!

This is me. I moved here, in part; due to the mild winters compared to my home at the time. I had tried Vancouver, and while warmer; I'm even less a fan of the constant rain and dampness than the cold.

As for hydro (my power bill) it's included in my rent. This building was built decades before the thought of separate metering happened. If not; I'd not be posting here very often. This is currently the least power hungry machine I own. It sucks about 600 watts on idle and the little dial that spins on a power meter would fly off the device like a ninja star if the whole network goes on full burn. If it wasn't for all the anti-freeze running through the machines here I would have to keep the balcony door open to dissipate the heat.

Only -17 this morning and going up to -3. Normal for this time of year.

Morning park. Yeah not that cold here but windchills are in the teens. Good old South. Sub tropical climate my arse lol
