Welcome back Sanbie. Good morning Fafnir.  Think I made way too much hoppin john for New Year's lol. If I had a bigger freezer would just freeze it up for next year.

Glad to see you again sanbie. I was getting concerned with all the weather you folks have been having. Fire and flood. Starting to sound like last summer up here.

Yeah pdg...it's been horrendous...tornados...rain...rain and more rain...wind...and believe it or not heatwaves...my daughter said it's like the end of the world is starting...

Good Morning to all,

Not to bad outside this morning.  It's still snowing but we'll be getting less then 1" and that's about it.  It's already 28 degrees so it's going to be a heat wave today LOLOL....

Morning Sanbie....What a weather and fire roller coaster ride you folks have had....Glad to see you safe and sound...

Thanks for the Fafnir.....Got my BIG cup this morning so the pots will need to be refilled many times LOL

Got to keep track of that storm heading to the East Coast...Rhode Island is in the path...but not sure if it's going to be the snow path or the rain path....  My Brother wasn't feeling well so he went to get it checked out....He's got covid and they want him to quarantine himself for 5 days.  Sad thing is...he got all the shots...even this years "New and improved"...He said he doesn't feel all that bad at all...just sinus problems.  But if something comes up and this storm is as bad as they say...he may have a problem getting anywhere.

As for me....Today I'll get what needs to get done in here and then start sorting out what I have on my external hard drives.  Some stuff is extinct and can't be used on NOTHING anymore so why keep it....but then a tiny voice in my head says...."You never know if you'll need it"  Got to learn to ignore that voice....or not LOLOL

   It is a cool 35 degrees F outside and looks like rain in the afternoon out here.  Thinking about getting curtains privacy is a good thing.  I have a trash bag tape to the window cell right now, some how it is not that appealing.

I have been reading these posts and enjoyed them wanting to add my 5cents worth. It is 12:52am Sunday morning, woke up feeling warm, with a touch of sweat. 19c outside and no air movement, with a prediction of 37c today, I rent a room well 2 rooms form the home owner but no aircon in my rooms, just fans. so they are now on moving the air around to make it feel cooler.

No I need to go back to Las Vegas to get a few odds and ends at my sister's house.  Plus bring boxes over so she can move too.

I'll settle for my Cold temps....You can dress up for the cold....you can only undress so far and be legal for the heat....unless you live in a nudist colony...

I use to work Up North, The Pilbara, 12 hrs shift 5 to 5 both day shifts and nights, temps up there was mostly in the 40's c in summer. so back in Perth with mid 30's c is no so bad, but yes, give me winter, except it plays havoc with my knees (arthritis).
