I'm impressed that you both, Aelin and Agent, are able to sleep with your cats.  We've never managed with our cats to make it more than a hour or so before there were head bumps, kneading or purring right next to our ears.  It was less sleeping and more resting for short periods.

Last 10 nights, Puce is more in mood to sleep on a side of the bed, not on me, except in the middle of the night. Otherwise, if I dare to put a blanket on her, she moves and go further. On me, she accepts a blanket, but not otherwise. I stopped to try to convince her or to try to understand why

Good morning!
Hawk, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to sleep with even one of teh babies. Yet, I started years ago to sleep alternatively with Puce and Giro before the both accept to sleep together with me. Today, only Puce stays, but very few before we adopt the babies she ended by sleeping in the living room, meowing any time I missed her so much I know I can no longer sleep without a cat. Yet, this morning she raised hell by meowing a long time before it was the hour for No way she stopped, and the worse was the babies started to be crazy in their own room. Too bad for sleeping longer just one day a week

Both of our cats usually sleep with me. I think it's to share our body heat. I like that, because my thin blood does not do a good job keeping me warm. Some nights though, they get in the mood to sleep alone. I double up on blankets when they do that.

Our cat McCartney is sitting on my computer table watching me. I had to ask if he was giving me a cat scan. He meowed his affirmation. LOL

They understand when it suits them LOLOL
