Thanks PDG and Dreamer. I will be looking into those. Yeah, changing the search words will likely help.
After I posted my query here, I got busy and made one. I UV mapped it so that it can have textures made for it, and it can use shaders. It looks great, so once I get some textures made, I'll offer it up for free here. The shaders I used look awesome on it. It will need some scaling adjustments for different figures, and will need to be positioned to sit where it belongs on the head of each figure it is used on.

Anybody know where I can find a free western style hat for M4, V4, Genesis, or Genesis 2 Males and Females? I thought I had at least one in my content for DS & Poser. The Share CG search engine is broken, showing everything but what I want when I enter my search words "western hat". Renderosity has whole western style outfits, but only for Poser exclusive figures; and the hat is not looking that great.

Don't ya just love those odd typos? Happens to me all the time, and I proofread everything I write. Still miss some of them, and then find them later. Some of them give me ideas, and I'll put them into my personal made up words dictionary. Then I will use them when I am talking to others, just for laughs. LOLOL
