I use VS Code for the themes and it's great! And, I love the extensions it has and it's well maintained. The only thing I don't like is that it's a Microsoft product, with their privacy issues and all. Nonetheless, it is a great product! :)

There are plenty of resources for this on YouTube.   Also there are many extensions for programming languages like python, C#, C/C++ and so on.  Presently I am using the extensions C#  and C/C++.  Also look into VS Code by search engine.


It is possible to run this on Linux based machines to if you run Linux within Windows or Mac
