Mornin to you all coffee cocoa and tea  are ready  the girls  made  biscuits and bacon  for this  morning  and  for  later on  there  will be fried red snapper  with all the fixings  tater wedges  and hushpuppies

I wish I can send you a part of our water. We have rain today, and had on a part of yesterday, and evening and night. Our rain more what comes from other locations, we already have a side of the river coming a little on the ground
If we do like in 60's (according a wall I saw) we should be safe at our level. Not far away from flood perhaps, but not in.

Good Morning to all....

Tis a sunny morn but we finally got our Snow yesterday.  About 1-1/2" here in Monroe.  Most other places North and East of us got more.  Just used the shovel to get it cleared....To light and fluffy for the Snow Blower.

Other then that still sorting out files....  But loving it.  Finding old treasures...

I like fish filets and fishsticks....and Swordfish steaks....and that's about as fishy as I get...except for Scallops and Crabs....Hate Lobster....

Like fish of any kind unless it is really fatty. Big fan of shellfish. Lobster doesn't hold the same mystique to ma as it does for some. Cockroaches of the sea. When I was young poor people ate lobster. Rich people ate fake plastic cheese slices and store bought white bread. As kids we were embarrassed to show up in school with shrimp or lobster sandwiches on thick slabs of home made bread for lunch. Embarrassing enough that I know kids that never ate their lunches in view of others. They were too ashamed of their lot in life and dreamed of the day they would have store bought bread or peanut butter. I was one.
