Hi Fafnir, and excellent end of day everyone.I know I write very tiny in daily life, but not at that point
I'm glad to learn they don't want to go outside. But take care if they aren't yet "snip snip", could have a temptation at a moment.

Indeed....as soon as they are old enough that is the first thing on the agenda....

We have Hawks also and Owls.  BIG owls that like to snatch kittens.  My Brother in law has lost many kittens to the owls.   Since we are a small burg the bike trail always has wildlife passing on it such as bears, fox, and wolves...

They seldom get into town...but when they do...no one harms them...they take pictures of them and they finally go their way LOLOL  I think I put one up in our Attic showing a bear cub right near our Hospital/Clinic.  It had it's fame for one day and was never to be seen again...at least not in town LOL...

Our cat gave me a fright yesterday, went out first thing in the morning and didn't come back all day. That is most unlike her.
Was getting close to dinner time and I was just getting ready to start really worrying when she showed up

We gradually had more and more hawks in the area as the squirrel population increased.  This year, though, a fox has moved in and there are very few mammals of any kind in the backyard.

We've fed the squirrels for years but not voluntarily.  This year, we've switch to Flaming Squirrel additive to the bird seed.  The birds get more of it now.   

With the cats around the Squirrels don't really get to eat that much of it.  But every now and then there is a brave one....like today...who thought it wouldn't be seen...and the chase was on.  Stripes, the female cat (our kittens mother) gave it a great chase.  Took her 15 minutes trying to figure out how to get down the tree.  By the time she figured it out....The squirrel was long gone....

Yup....Cat TV is alive and well Aelin LOLOL....They love it....but don't even TRY to go outside when the doors are open....They like their comfort now...

Sir Knight  it is  warm  with a southerly breeze  kinda cloudy but  no  rain  was foggy this  morning  tho
