2 days ago, the program was updated.
I finally installed it, because yesterday and this morning, my Photoshop had issues again, even with a very light weight image. It was very slow, and slowed a lot my comp.
I have just opened Gimp to look the interface and how it works basically. I admit I had 30 seconds of "why the shape doesn't appear when I click to paint?". But:
- it's in a way like in DS, when we have to choose what the cursor action will be and do (selection, rotation...)
- the interface is enough close of what we find in PD Howler and PD Artist in a way.

I think I'll keep the 2 programs on the comp for a while, but will play regularly with Gimp.
My only concern is the size of the progam on the comp, but it offers a lot of options, so it's like that

We tried Gimp but it is smarter than us here....it doesn't work for us. :eek2:

It's still free, and the version so far this year is the 2.10.38
There are chances I finally have to install it soon because the program I'm using crashes without reasons at least once a day when I'm using it.

I have it somewhere in the archives....might have to download again since it's easier to do that then to find where I put it :tearlaugh:

Thanks for the info and link....

MilosGulan

Me too, I think it is on of the best free graphic editing program if not the best.

It is a very good program, I just wanted to put the word out for people who wanted a good photo editor without spending an arm and a leg to get one, Gimp is one they don't need to spend money on.  I have used it too and like it.
Round up all the usual suspects!

MilosGulan

It is a wonderful tool. Haven't been doing that for some time but I remember that I used it for my RPG maps to click on the room and to send me on its description. It can be done in GIMP in HTML. I think I should refresh my knowledge about it.
