Long ago in a land not far from Yesterday, the Little People awoke from their long Winter's nap. They sat up in their tiny beds and could not help but sniff the air.

Spring was coming!!

It was time to waken the ground and make sure all those loose seeds laying around were covered in some dirt. They worked and worked to make their favorite time of year happen right on time and in just the right order.

Some tended the wild fields of the forest, and others the wind-swept valleys and plains below the mountains. There were those by the ponds, and those looking after their human's pots and boxes.

It was still snowing when the Violets, Johnny Jump-ups, Pansies and Crocus came up. It always was, but it made no matter. It was Spring and everything was going to burst open like...a flower glad to see the sun and feel it's warmth!
