Good morning one and all. Another hot one but they say rain is coming. Maybe tornadoes? Really. When did the Earth axis shift again? I've been here since '78 with a 4 year gap. Regular tornado forecasts have been non existent in all those years. I've had five this year. All in the last month and a half. Two of them have had actual tornadoes touch down near town and that derecho deal spawned three in it's leading edge. Glad I don't live down south where there are obviously more.

I've been keeping track of this for years now....great place to get the info about the poles.... Earth.com

And I just saw on the news that Tampa Bay area had a tornado warning.....

Yeah, we get a lot of tornadoes in the South. I'm in Georgia, and can say without a doubt that I've been through a few of those storms. Wicked killers, is what I call them.

I used to live in Florida a long time ago. I know all about summer in the South. "Tornado Alley" is not that far to my west and we get them from time to time. Hurricanes really don't make it to me and we have the same season. June to November.
