Kythorn ~ Time of Flowers ~ In The Good Ol Summertime~June 2022 Contest

Ahhh, the summer solstice. It's the longest day of the year, the first day of summer, and the official kickoff for warm-weather festivities in the northern hemisphere.

There are many folklores and superstitions about Summer Solstice but this contest will only deal with one of them.

According to pagan folklore, evil spirits would appear on the summer solstice. To ward off evil spirits, people would wear protective garlands of herbs and flowers.  One of the most powerful of these plants was known as "chase devil.' Today it's called St. John's Wort.

Your creations are to be of any celebration scene you wish but the characters
of your choice must wear some sort of floral protection against the evil spirits that will also be shown in your creation.

Three images per person, not previously entered here or at any other site, original work only, contest runs from June 1st till the 30th at midnight Eastern.
