A night sailing mushroom elf

Little is known of the mushroom elves. They are the rarest of the woodland elves, living only close to ancient oak trees. These tiny creatures resemble mushrooms, which may explain why there have been few sightings of them since they usually remain immobile amongst real mushrooms when danger threatens, but they can move quickly to avoid detection. It is said that these tiny elves sail on the night of the full moon to their island on the river Eire to collect Moon dew from their magic pool.
