Top of the hill (2)
|
To continue the visit (previous https://www.thefantasiesattic.net/attic/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=42857 )
Another photo taken from the same hill, but this time looking the ruins of the castle - and at the right of the ruins you can see the "tour de l'horloge".
First background, the plants are bushes and sometimes young trees, depends of where you are on the old path. From the bottom of the hill, you have the feeling there is a dense forest, but it's a trick of Nature!
Houses of the left are a part of Aubusson. The house at the "foot" of the ruins is abandonned, it seems it was the house of the keeper when there was such a job. Now, it's just near a on foot path, full of stones, taking us at another groupe of houses - and at the path on the top of the hill.
The "tour de l'horloge" is on another hill, from another side of the valley. Aubusson is reputed to have 7 hills - nope, it's not a mini-Rome lol It was mainly built between the hills.
Beyond, there are several other hills I didn't visite, and won't have the time this Summer. Perhaps during Fall, perhaps next year. I suspect the 'houses' in the far right backgrounds are from "le Mont", the industrial zone of the town...
(don't worry, I swear I'm not enough idiot to walk alone in and on the hills)
