In an effort to help alleviate the melancholic demeanor hanging over her daughter like dark cloud, Aliza decided to shave her own head as a show of support for Imala.
Imala, she says while shaving her head; “Do you know the meaning of your name? It is a special name for a very special girl. The name Imala is not just cute and sweet, but has a deeper meaning. Strong-minded; which is something you’ve demonstrated on many occasions. It is something every survivor must possess, and together we will not only survive, but beat this cancer”.
