Thousands of Stars. - SAOTW winner 08/06/22
Yeppers. 7500 randomly sized, coloured, and distributed teeny tinny little lights. Same volume just a different angle. Same render settings. Seven hours and 48 minutes. Way too long for my purposes. Changes are needed.

Hey PDG, as an amateur astronomer, I can say that most nebulae look like colored smoke, but not quite as brilliantly, unless false color is added to the photos to bring out more detail. I have been fortunate enough to see many through a fairly large aperture telescope, live. To see color you need to let yopur eyes adjust to the light coming into the telescope, but that light will never show as much color as we see in the doctored photos. I love your nebula, with the stars, BTW.

Thanks McG. Wizzard, call it "artistic license". Otherwise it just looks like coloured smoke.

BLENDER?! Amazing work PDG. That Blender can do it is one thing. That you thought to even do it IN Blender, now that's something man! Great stuff! :woohoo:

The nebulae came out fantastic PDG, odd how the stars light it from inside. 8 ) Beauty. Cheers
