:ummm: Well you might have a thought there ... intriguing

Hell....If I can eat a Tunafish pizza you can eat a Salmon pizza...

Jherrith

We toss out nothing as well, however methinks my fondness for salmon and other items from the sea do not make for suitable toppings on pizza :tearlaugh:

Either that or I am not brave enough to try.  :thud:

I do the same thing. No need to throw out anything. LOL

Excellent....Being addicted to pizza....I love experimenting.   I came up with one called the Leftover pizza.  No...It's not pizza left over from a previous meal....it's all the leftovers in the fridge that you can put ON a homemade pizza.

I've had everything from Hot Dogs to pot roast to corned beef hash on my pizzas  YUM

Here's a topic that I've made popular on various forums. Posting what you cook may give others ideas about what to cook and will also give a little info about yourself. ;)

Today I made little homemade pizzas. Take any kind of fresh bread loaf (like Italian, steak rolls, etc. whatever you like) and cut to an appropriate size for you or the people you are serving. For premade steak/sub/hoagie rolls just open them or split them open and use them that way. :)

Ingredients:
Whatever floats your boat. LOL I used:

jarred pizza sauce
diced onion, small dice
diced green peppers, small dice
sauteed country sausage, drained - or use whatever sausage you prefer
pepperoni, diced
different shredded cheeses

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F.

Slice bread. Spread sauce on bread slices. Then pile on your toppings...whatever you like. Just remember to sprinkle cheese in between the toppings to help make them stick to the break. Also, you might want to put fresh items on top so they will cook better, like onions and peppers.

Place on a baking sheet and put into a preheated oven for about 10 minutes. If you use fresh loaf bread that you slice it should be crisp on the outside but tender on the inside. Use your own judgment on baking times for your particular oven and toppings.

Tips:
Don't be afraid to experiment with different breads, sauces, toppings, spices/herbs, and cheeses.

These also freeze well. you can make a batch of them and freeze them for rainy day or for unexpected company.

If using fresh meats make sure you cook them first before adding them on the pizza.
