Good Afternoon to all....

Well, maybe not good...but it IS a afternoon.    It is WICKED out there.  My Vehicle wouldn't even turn over...so it sits until the grandson gets here tomorrow.  It's his year to have the Girls on Christmas Eve and the other parents to have them on Christmas Day.  So I've been busy getting everything set for Tomorrows Christmas.  And I'm pooped. 

I think I mentioned that I'm serving up my Spaghetti, Meatballs and Chourico for brunch tomorrow.  Spent the morning preparing my homemade sauce and my homemade Meatballs.  I still get my Chourico from the same Company I did when I lived in Newport RI....Gaspar's....North Darmouth, MA

Anyway...this is a quick visit.  Still got some wrapping to do and then got to dehair the place.  Pet owners understand this term

I'm going to try and get in here early in the morning to post my TOTW winner...but if not...Aelin will take care of it for me .... hopefully.

Hi, McG.  We're having a bit of weather fun ourselves.  60° at 1 AM.  Currently 30°, headed for 7°.  So far today, it has rained and snowed.  Wind up in the 40 mph range when it gusts which it is doing regularly.

Was +2 F this morning at daylight,  it's noon now and warmed up a lot, it's now 16°F!   :oD

Seems the warming was assisted by the wind coming to a stop.

I would also like to add my condolences to all the others Agent.  There is nothing that can be said that will heal such hurt, just the sure knowledge that it will eventually just turn us numb.


Not to PDG- Only that one time to visit Alaska.  Got to visit Hawaii once.  Was returning home as mom was quite ill and the Red Cross obliged.  Stop off in Honolulu to refuel and then got on with it. Finally returning to the States after tour got to fly in the extreme luxury of a MATS C-141.  Joy and Yummies.

Yesterday was a real wakeup call.  Temperature previous was quite warm.  Then the weather weenies must have done the weather dance from HELL!!!  Dropped from the 60s to the low 20s and under as the night progressed.  Even last year wasn't as bad.  Almost reminded me of being back in Korea while up in the hills.  Nothing to break the force of the wind but what you're wearing.  Wind gusting so bad that my Forrester was shaking in the parking lot like a ship at sea in a BAD storm.  Now in the mid teens and expected to climb over the next few days.
