English is actually my second language. French is my primary. (Not that watered down Parisian French mind you. No sir. I'm originally from Quebec where they still speak actual French.) I also speak German, Russian (With some variation, I learned it over in Bosnia) and Spanish fluidly. I speak some Farsi and Pashto from my time in the sand, a little Mandarin from my time living in Taipei, a smattering of Japanese, Tai, and Greek. Basically I can order some food and get my face slapped in any country I go to. When I was a kid, my parents worked for the US Department of Defense doing munition inventory audits so I was moved around a lot. In a way I have trouble relating to people I meet whom have lived their entire lives in one town never leaving it. The world is a vast wonderful place. I can't imagine not seeing it.

"J".....Lorna and I were heading into Walmart on Monday when the temp was 9 degrees and there was a guy walking out with a cart of groceries and he was wearing shorts with a winter coat.  A lot of the High Schoolers also wear shorts in the Winter....
