Not counting the grammar programs aren't the best to decide words. No matter OpenOffice or LibreOffice, the French dictionnary doesn't know some basic words, and can decide the word in question is separated in 2 entities, sometimes with a '  Which make me think the creators of such things aren't fluent in French language.

I'm not overly fond of programmes that decide my spelling is "out of date" , or "incorrect" based on some algorythym created by a millennial that types in abbreviations.
The centre of thought relies on words, mine are quite enough for me, e'en though I'm losing them daily.

a very annoying advert, which I would really like to kill, for a program called grammarly makes it obvious that people arent (or someone thinks they arent) capable of intelligent thought. I have been speaking and writing English for well over 50 years. Damned if I need a program to correct my language capabilities. Makes me shudder when I think that there are those that want us to rely on machines to do the thinking for us... shades of agent smith...
