My cat seems to have decided that walking over and sitting on key boards is not fun any more and has stopped doing so for reasons unknown. Maybe it has something to do with my clearing off all the small things that could be knocked to the floor

Smart cat....  When I'm in the office I spend more time keeping them away from the electrical panel and cords then I do work....which is why most of the time I'd have the door shut.  But when Lorna is gone I have to keep the door open to hear what the kittens are destroying now.

The cat (long hair, Lilac Himalayan)  used to sleep on top of the tower under the desk. It has a mesh top to help dissipate entirely too much heat from the two VHS tape sized video cards. Warm with a breeze from the fans. Great place to sleep for a cat. Terrible place as far as the computer is concerned. I placed a bar mat (beer advertising towel) on the top of the machine. Exactly the same size as the computer. After the cat slid off the top of the computer a few times, bar mat and all; she got the message. Now she sleeps behind the Dell in the exhaust from that machine.

Here they learnt they haven't the right to come on the comp. Near if they want to, but no more. Even if last months, I had few paws put on to try. What do you want, it's teenage rebellion

These guys and girl are young ..... but Oz makes sure they don't get to close to the laptop....nor me

During the day I'm either in my Computer room or on the computer in the Bedroom.....and at night I've got my HP Laptop to keep me company...along with nosey kittens....  And yes...they do type faster then me....and no...nothing they type is readable....

the 16" screen seems big, compared to the tablets especially.
So far, so good, this is in WaterFox.  Not that Edge mess.

The first months I had my Vista in 2008, I did the same. On the bed, not in.
It's a comfortable location to work for sure

Are you using Waterfox Classic, or the other? Just curiosity.

I tell you, Fafnir, you do a great job taking care of that fan/motor!  I also forget at times your being in Florida you don't need blankets!   Up here I do, and standard Twin size ones are just too short.  The sheets are fine.  And this Queen size quilt is too.  It can cover this entire bed plus some.  Ha!

dont have  an issue  with  cover  McG   and sleep under a ceiling  fan  24/7  only time  it gets  turned off  is to clean it  have  had this  fan  for at least 30 years still going  strong  it is
