Looks like we are having a cooler summer with all the rain we are getting this year.  But it won't last we will be getting back to normal next week.

Thanks for the Fafnir.....That will get the ol mind peculating....A coool coool start to the day here....and I love it....

But it's wierd....91% humidity....but it's only 57 degrees out.   And not a cloud in the sky...but I'm not complaining.  Got the windows open, the AC off....and all is well in the world....

Plus I have one of Fafnirs coffees in hand.... Ahhhhhhhh

Morning to you all  coffee cocoa and tea are ready   the girls  made biscuits and bacon for  this  morning  and for later on there  will be  grilled  center cut  pork chops  with cornbread  and tater  wedges

I only keep the Blood Pressure readings on a Spread Sheet..... As you said...all of the other stuff they can gather themselves LOL....

TL  I keep a Excel spreadsheet of my "Medical Stuff".   BP, weight, glucometer, and the ostomy device changes.   And my doc never wants to see either my glucometer, my spreadsheet.  Nope, he wants my entire metabolic panels from labs.   He often asks about some thing or other in the urology sample.  I just pat my right side and he said "OH!"  He is a Endocrinologist and diabetes specialist.  He has helped me a LOT getting my glucose down, and managing other symptoms.  Which also stopped my getting constant foot ulcers, thank ye much!   So am I all healthy now?  Hell NO I ain't!  I will always be working on it though!  :D

Hay HIPSHOT!  I cracked up when I saw your mention of the VA and their lacking a bit on sending out new strips.   I know THAT drill inside and out!  LOL!  Oh wait, that ain't funny!
There are three ways things can go with Insulin vs eating and four if ya count Plumb Haywire.  One, take meds and not eat right after;  Means a guaranteed GO LOW.  Done that a few times.   Two, take meds then eat right after;  Right ON!  Three, eat a bite but forget to take the meds;  WRONG!  Go HIGH guaranteed!   Done that a few times too.   At least I survived long enough through all that to get it somewhat right!   Oh and grocery shopping days is one day that is guaranteed to GO HIGH a few times.  I end up eating my meal, then just grab a snack in between.  Diabetics can do that IF and only IF that 'snack' is zero calorie!  So my coffee and cough drops are allowed.  Cheesecake is not.   
Did someone get word to my Walmart I am diabetic or something?  Last few times I ordered groceries I slipped a cheesecake into the mix.  That they happened to be out of stock of.  But, if there is a good thing to slip out of my orders, THAT is the good one!
