Welcome to the warm and sunny days of the month of August, sometimes it can get damp but for the most part warm and sunny and this months theme definitely will bring many a warm memory and feeling to the month.

Inspired by the Orient

The short version in the poll was beautiful Orientals.. Which brings to mind the elegant beauties from the Far East. However to add a bit more to the theme, as long as your picture has an Oriental theme, be it architecture, landscapes, warriors of the shogun and of course the ladies, be they be in modern garb or a traditional kimono it fulfills the theme.

So we have the standard rules. Up to three images per person. Starts today and runs till the end of the month, the 31st at midnight.
