When you do try it, take small sips at first.  It is strong and also sweet, it's seasonal, expensive as hell, used in cooking and for sipping.
I found out about it from my grandmother and decided to get her a bottle and a bottle of expensive whiskey for my grandfather, for their 50th anniversary, also found a whole bunch of songs from when they were dating, married and a few years after, turned out one of the songs my mother was named for...lol
