Lol.... I know - they're very fun to play with!

So you got it, huh? Well great! Are we going to see you post any images, TL?

(You had to see that coming, didn't you?)

That is pretty neat....I was playing with it the other day....Kept checking to see if the paints were running out of my computer because it looked so real.....

Before we get to a tutorial on Rebelle, here are a couple of short videos for Rebelle to show you it's really pretty easy to use, and the wonderful flow dynamics of the program with respect to Watercolor painting:

Very nice and thank you for this.

You're welcome Mary and  :ty01:

I meant every word too.

I'm having fun playing in it... I still need to learn more and get proficient at it. I can see so many possibilities with it.

I just wish I've had more time to play with it so far. But all these appointments and so forth will be over soon.?

Within a week of Rebelle 2 coming out, Rebelle 2.1 was released with some bug fixes and additons. I've now worked in both of them, and the 2.1 version does indeed make some improvements. But that is not to say Rebelle 2 wasn't pretty well done in the first place. In fact, it's quite a fun and delightful program to work with and has SO many possibilities for your art!

My first compliment goes out to the team in charge of creating the User Manual and opening tutorial. It's very easy to understand and tells you pretty much all you need to know to make it work. The rest is up to you and your imagination. Secondly, my hat goes off to the developers who created this wonderful 3D painting software!

What makes Rebelle so great to work in is: that you can create a lot of your own tools to work with in it from the instructions and analyzing how what is there was done. The painting brushes are very realistic in producing the results that you would get with such brushes, pencils, pens, etc. in real life art. You also have tools that produce the same effects with watercolors like blowing the paint, tilting the paper, smudging and blending. Make backgrounds, make painting stencils out of pretty much any image you want. Do you HAVE to know how to paint to use it? It helps - but not necessarily. You can create some nice looking images with what's there or your own tools.

What's best about it - in my opinion - is you can play all you want and eventually you come up with some pretty cool images! Oh, and the big pluses: The brushes don't loose their bristles, your paints never dry out, and you have any color you like any time!

MY ONLY CAVEAT IS: Make sure to SAVE your image set-up immediately and then often, because the paint and water-flows are pretty intensive calculations and you wouldn't want to loose your work. Even the folks at Escape Motions will tell you that. It's true.
