Can't say I have ever seen the items locally, for this tea. The only place so far that I have seen loose herbs suitable for tea is in the Oriental Market and I don't know how to read Chinese so tis a hit and miss affair when I get the urge for something different.

Rooibos (South African Red Bush) and Lavender Tea

Rooibos is a natural herb that grows here in SA and is used to make this herbal tea. I have sent some friends this herbal tea. Not sure if you have this where you live.

Cook Time: 10 mins

3 tablespoons loose red bush tea leaves ("rooibos")
1 tablespoon fresh lavender flowers
orange slices or lemon slice
sugar or honey, to taste

Boil enough water to fill up your teapot.

Place the red bush tea and lavender blossoms in the tea infuser; set in teapot.

Pour the boiling water into the teapot, cover with a tea cozy and steep 5 minutes.

Serve with orange slices (or lemon slices) and sugar on the side.
