Yup....in the computer world changes are made fast.....I won't get Win 11 until I absolutely need it, which in my opinion is never LOL

I figured with windows making it's older - wellll older - systems obsolete I can't keep up with how fast they change their OS. I mean, one minute I updated to windows 8 and I had to contemplate upgrading to windows 10. The next I'm looking at windows 11! What's a girl to do?
Seeing the requirements that an average graphic software programm has these days my wallet just can't keep up. I found myself a nice little bussiness who refurbishes the latest high-end business laptop cq. desktops that were lease PC's for a fraction of a price. The difference can easily add up to € 1000,= since these are PC's that cost over € 2500,= to € 3000,= new on the market.I thought I'd spend the difference on software upgrades instead.

I have a refurbished laptop I got from Walmart 7 years ago and it's still going strong and has served me well.  I also got a refurbished Desktop from Amazon that has been fantastic also. 

I tell folks when you buy refurbished electronics they go through a more thorough inspection then a new one does.

Since I got my new - wellll refurbished - laptop I've been reinstalling my runtime and of the 1TB harddrive I have used a little over 300 GB but I'm almost finished. Still some folders to sort out that contain my own products/freebies, some for my PSP and then there is this mysterious folder that is "miscellaneous". No idea what I will find in there.I'm surprised I finished this fast, only took me since beginning this year. Retreived most - not all - of my favorite places on the web plus 5 more months and then my temp contract is done aswell wich leaves me time for my poser/daz again.
