Question about poser not working anymore with flash player?

Thanks for answering my questions. Sounds confusing.
I don't remember offhand which poser version I have but I know it's poser pro. I wanna say 11 but I'm probably wrong. I'd have to find the poser disk or see if my computer still turns on. I'll do that in the near future. It's still plugged in.

But yes, Flash died at the end of 2020, and even Abode made the things to jump in your comp and kill it, no matter if we need to keep the old flash or not.

If I recall correctly, and probably don't; you have PP2014. No Game Dev update. I haven't been on PFD since my wife died so am not up to date over there.


Flash is dead. That may pose a problem. A new computer won't fix that. If you are not running the Game Dev update then the library will still run using AIR instead of Flash.


SM sold Poser to Bondware (Rendo). Game Dev enabled Poser and SM's P11 will no longer function as their license server is no longer in operation. There is a free update to Bondware's version of P11. P11 will no longer be updated and as such it will access their new server.


P12 is the current version and works best with newer computers due to it's updated Superfly/Cycles render engines taking the most from your hardware.
Need more info from you about your current Poser.

   Lots of it Depends on what Version of Poser you got now and if Rendo Has any Control over your installer. O.o I would think that most of your runtimes should still work in a newer Poser.

Okay, I haven't used poser in over 5 years. My vision is failing. Anyways, I was wondering, I heard briefly about how poser stopped working and has something to do with flash player? I didn't research it tho.
My computer is old (by technology standards) but worked perfectly when I last used poser. I haven't used the computer for that long as well.
If I were to buy a new computer, would poser work on that or would I still have to tweak everything to get poser to work?
I have tons of poser content since I was using the program for over 10 years before I ended up very ill back 5 years ago. I'd hate for all of it to go to waste IF I'm able to start playing with Poser and my computer again.


I don't even know if I'm asking the right questions. It's been a long time. Last time I used Poser, my runtimes were a mess from to trying to figure out how to install the beginning Genesis content with Daz's then new installers.
