Oh man this is too damn sad to hear. It brings flashbacks of my father...... And it must be even sadder when you can visit to be there with them when they do need you the most. I'm so sorry to hear she's declining. I will still pray for her. Hope should never be lost until the very end.

Yes it is very sad, with all medical advancements there are still some things not possible. In her case they said she is too weak to take chemo therapy, since that takes a ot out of a person.

It is always rough to hear such news.  A person may be alone in the physical sense, but never in spirit.  Good wishes follow always.

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you all that Stormi is not doing well at all. She is now in hospice care (according to her son) she is not expected to leave there. The biggest sadness comes with the fact that she is alone, nobody can go visit her -- regulations and all.

So sad to hear that she's declining in health.  My thoughts are with her....  And yes, it is sad that no one can visit.  That's what happened with my Mother just recently.  No one could visit the Nursing Home, only phone calls once a day.  When she passed...it was the same...No visitation etc etc etc.

It's not fair to forbid family. It's like leaving people decline and knowing that.

Few houses (old people but not only) decided it was possible to see the relatives in France. How did they do it? Simply having a special room in the rez-de-chaussee. Opening the window. Leaving the family at a certain distance in the garden/outside. Short visits, but good for the moral of everyone in those spots.
So I guess it's possible everywhere. Just a bit of good will is necessary.

you and the family are in  my thoughts and prayers    they should let the  family  see her  wear  masks and gloves  but not  seeing  her  ain't  right
