Our runt (one of them) was the same way...he didn't have much oomph at all but now the others don't bully him too much anymore cause he goes right back after them now...LOL He probably needs more people warmth too.

thank you for that; I will have to see if I can find canned pumpkin somewhere for the future. Unfortunately I have news which is heart-breaking; after a day seeming so much better, I came down to find Biggles stretched out on the floor of the kittycage dead.  I guess there was a reason they were the weak ones.  Gimlet, the last survivor, seems healthy but I will go looking for canned pumpkin. there must be a shop somewhere in town which sells American food.  Thanks for all the support here.

thank you.  On the up side, the little sick one who has been passing undigested food did me a lovely smelly, if messy poopy poop just now, several hours after eating!  So I am hoping we will save 2 of the three ...
I have been reminded by the lady at the shelter who asked me to rear them that Hurricane had some time playing as a kitten which without the extra care he would not ... and I am trying to remember that.
All my best wishes to Bast's siblings ... not the best time of year to be a kitten either, I suspect

try giving them all some pumpkin NOT the pie filling but just plain canned pumpkin. give them about half teaspoon (depending on age...wee ones like mine get this) and trust me be ready for the stinky diapers...LOL Helps with worms should they have any too. we give ours the pumpkin just about 3 times a day. Depending on age they may need their bottoms stimulated - like mommy cats do - so that they can go potty.

Yes they do, one minute just watching them wears you out then they are sick and gone. Sorry for your baby too.

Thank you all again, yes earwenM the eyes are deceiving at times...sometimes when we look towards a room just right we willthink we see her under the desk/chair or on the carpet where they played. If I could get them all to sit still for some pics I would get more but they got energy I want to bottle so I can run too...LOL
Others looked like they were going to get something so we gave them some ammoxycillin and they bounced back. They now eat kitten chow real good for dry food, not picky at all about what king od wet cat food but they ALL seem to love Starkist tuna...LOL  of course Orien an Ashen drink water from bowl already but now Briggid (Brie for short) and Storm drink water from bowl. Charon and Misty still o not know quite how to do it but they were both the runts and are behind a bit so they still lie their bottle.
Ran out of evaporated milk to dilute so we have had to resort to homogonized milk watered down for their bottles andare hoping my SSI gets here Monday so I can get them more cans of milk and fish.
