Next monday I'll have surgery on my wrist, apparently I have carpal tunnel syndrome on both my wrists and next monday the first surgery will be done on my right wrist. They say it will take 6 weeks in total but I'm not allowed to do anything like heavy lifting or that puts a strain on my wrist. Esspecially no computer the doctor said.*sigh*O well, I'll see if I can sneak in anyway and type left handed, not very good left handed though.....They did give me a rubber ball to squeeze. That am I allowed to do to keep the muscles flexible...strange....Anyhew, wish me luck coming monday.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is certainly not a fun thing at all.

And behave....temptation will be there....but remember...."you only hurt yourself if you don't follow orders".

Now those would be the words my Mother would have said to me if I was getting it done....

Good luck with the surgery.
Try to don't follow the temptation. Door will always be opened and light turned on for you, no matter the time it takes for you to come and say hello.
But if ever you pass, can't you use a pen on your keyboard (or on a tablet) to rest at maximum your hand? Or go by only 1 finger?

I'm practising typing left handed, I'm practising doing all sort of things lefthanded wich is challenging I can tell you.
