For those of you who don't already know, I am a huge nerd who loves comic book characters. I just did a series of watercolor renditions of a lot of DC characters that I posted up on my site. There are way too many of them to post up here so if anyone is interested please drop over and check them out.

Some days I get a wild hair and do odd projects just for my own entertainment. "Abandon Hope" was painted by Jeff Easley for use as cover art for the eighth edition TSR Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Masters Guide source book released in 1983 and I have always thought highly of the painting. I actually had a reason to build a cover for a 3.5 version of the DMG for my own personal use so I decided to do my take on this iconic cover. I hope you like it.
