This thread is for all things anime and relating to music. There are a number of musicians out there utilizing anime and/or cartoons for their music video's. On top of that you have anime with exceptional music soundtracks that are worth learning about.
I will not limit this thread to just the anime and music. Anything cartoon, cgi or the like can also be posted on this thread.

I want to be the first to post on this thread, partly because I am already here and partly because I came across this group a couple months back that I absolutely love their music.All of their video's are animated, they have never done a live video, they have even used holograms for their live Brits performance. Rather unique in their presentation, as well as their music style, they definitely stand out from a crowd and are worth a listen.To learn more about this group, watch this video. Bare in mind they are talking about the characters, not the actual singers...lol

Just so you know, Jack Black is not singing in this video, it's all Gorillaz'

This is the Brits performance which I believe they did a very good job of pulling off.

Before that they performed at the 2006 Grammy's with Madonna

These guys will even do interviews in 3D

They are also to have a 10 episode series for television coming supposedly sometime thisyear.

This is an anime movie I saw a while ago that I thought was rather well done, have to get a page done for it soon so others can enjoy it. In the meantime, here is the music for the opening credits and it's very beautiful Japanese music. You should give it a listen to.

This was not done for anime though it is used for many anime music video's. It's traditional music and singing and absolutely beautiful.
