Well, Lorna's Appointment took longer then expected....and then we had to make a couple stops at the grocery stores and then to the pharmacy...Another new med...and now we wait for the storms to show up that never showed up though they were suppose to show up....

PDG....So they know the problems you have....know the pain you have.....yet...they wait to get you in until Monday......Yikes....

Was in the middle of saying GOOD NIGHT TO ALL when the power blipped.  Hope it's not the power station down the road again having problems.  As most remember....that power station is haunted by a Candle Maker.....or maybe I didn't tell you that.....Hummmm...Pretend I didn't say that.

And on that note....HAVE A GREAT NIGHT...it's been a LONG LONG day....

Quite right I believe. I guess the canals were the clue. I understand the soccer culture but it's not really a Canadian sport. The popularity is massive and the World Cup coming to North America is a big deal. It's getting a lot of flack here due to the cost though. About 100 million per match is the breakdown. That's a lot of money to spend. There are, I think; 7 matches in this city alone.

You lucky people, the World Cup. Well, all I can say is, when you see a red bus with a huge parade of bright orange dressed people behind it on their way to the stadium, best let them pass and when they smile and sing in your face just nodd. It's a temporarily kind of bug that goes around here every now and then but it gets worst with every victory. And God help you if they reach the semi-finals or forbid the finals.It's not contagious, only for Dutch people.So I might start acting out myself aswell, don't pay attention to it. It will pass.

Monday is to see how the graph is taking and to decide if I will need a plate instead. I'm in and out of the hospital a lot over the last month. I'm just glad that my expired health card was discovered before the bills started arriving. I'd be moving in to the concrete bunker that houses the pump for the children's splash pad in the back yard. Well that's not true. I wouldn't be out of house and home. I might have had to raid folks back gardens to eat however.

I will say one thing; the Dutch have a sport team or star they support and they go all in. I have seen before with F1 and soccer. Our country is huge and it is not easy to get support for a single team or star across various geographical regions. I will however watch for the big red bus. I live close enough to the field that I if I could get on the roof I could watch the matches as the stadium is quite close by.

Happy Friday PDG!    I do  feel for ya.   My cancer hasn't resurfaced thank God.   The diabetes related problems are just about Murder though.   Overweight?  Not that much now.  Tobacco?  NONE.  Lungs, heart , liver, kidneys n bones?  OKAY!  Blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose?  FINE.   All that said, that damned gene for diabetes is baaad juju!  Be very glad that one missed you!

I am. I'm glad to see that things are getting better for you of late as well. Like everyone says to me; listen to the docs. Still getting bad weather? Didn't I see storm/hail/tornado/flooding warnings for your neighbourhood a couple days back?
