Figures return to default state

I generally work in Bryce 7. This means for the most part that figures have to posed before loading in Bryce.
The problem I am running into is figures pre posed in Poser 11 even though saved will return to their default
position when exported. I don't seem to run into this with DS. Is this somehow related to ik?

Thanks. I have run into some problems with DS but usually find a work around. I have dabbled with DS for years
but since vers. 3 I sorta fell by the wayside and as to poser well lets just say I still have vers. 3........
