IvyMaker on Renderosity
« on: December 22, 2016, 10:44:50 AM »
Link: IvyMaker

Have you ever dreamed of creating your own ivy for products you own? Then you should try IvyMaker! I know there is a free ivy generator out there, but it's not as good as IvyMaker is!

It's an excellent standalone product and you can use it with any base mesh in obj, 3ds, dfx, pp2, ply, off or stl format!

So you are able to create ivy whereever YOU want and need it. Just import the base mesh into IvyMaker, seed the ivy, plant it, export it as obj and then import it into your favorite 3D software!

You have so many options to make your ivy look totally like you want it!

IvyMaker also comes with one texture and transparency map for the leaves. If you already own a few products with ivy, you can easily use their textures on your new created ivy. I also use the branch textures from already purchased products. :) Or you can use the template which is also in the zip file to create your own ivy textures.

I love this little program and in my opinion it's totally overlooked at the Renderosity Marketplace, because the promo images aren't very appealing. But this tool is awesome! Believe me or at least these (quick) images I did:

When I have more time in January, I will create a complete image where I will use this tool. It's really lovely!
